Hello guildies This poll is for the expansion Wrath of the Lich King. It is not for the way loot is handled currently in the burning Crusade. I would ask that those without a current WoW account refrain from voting; however your opinion is always welcome. There are 2 options for this poll. Number 1: loot is handled the way it is now. Random 100 roll for those that need an item Number 2: Loot is based off an attendance to raids. Proposal: I would like to propose that we change the way loot is currently handled. I and others have been frustrated in past raids to see items walk out the door so to speak. Players that show up for 1 raid win a tier item and then leave the guild. The loot system I will propose will help curb this. There will be 3 classifications of raiders: Casual: When an item drops they roll 1-100 for the item Casual Raider: Will roll 25-100 for the item Raider: Will roll 50-100 for the item Classifications are based on attendance and sign ups. If you are in 3 raids in 1 month you are a raider. If you are in 1 raid in 1 month you are a casual raider. If you have not been in a raid in a month you are a casual. Loot as far as 1 item per run and 1 tier item per run per person will stay the same (unless of course you are the only person that can use that item), no matter which choice is accepted.

At first when I started reading this my tought was hell no I like it the way it is.
But I decided to read it fully before making my mind. Now that I have read it I must say that I like your proposal. I do not have a lot of time to raid. I can only make it on fridays and saturdays and that's if I do not have more important social stuff coming up. So basicly I can only raid once or twice a week. In most raid guilds that's considered casual.
But since SWP has never been and will never be a true raid guild I like the way you worded it. It only takes me 3 raids in a month to be considered a raider... sweet. ;D

You all should know my opinion now, if someone is in a raid/dungeon crawl and something drops, they should be have a chance at it, for they were there and made it possible. It should never be based on how often you raid/dungeon crawl. The Person is part of the guild and anything that helps them helps make the guild stronger.

My opinion is if I've been healing our raid for 3 months waiting on a drop to come and some newbie level 80 toon comes in and gets what I've been waiting for because blizzards fucked up randomizer screws me with a 1 then I'm gonna be pissed and most likely would not say anything but would be reluctant to go back to heal.
In case you don't realize from my post I like the proposal of the new loot rules.
